Initial Roof inspection and assessment
- Shingles: Inspect for any missing, cracked, or damaged shingles. Look for signs of curling or granule loss, which indicates aging. This will determine if fresh roof is the correct product for you without wasting your money if your roof is past its potential to be restored.
- Flashing: Check around chimneys, vents, and skylights for proper sealing and integrity. Worn-out flashing can cause leaks.
- Gutters and Downspouts: Ensure they are clear of debris and functioning properly, as clogged gutters can cause water to pool on the roof.
- Roof Slope: Check for any dips or uneven areas that could indicate structural issues.
Cleaning of roof before application
- Large debris removal using a battery operated blower to gently remove any large debris first if needed.
- Spot treat any moss between shingles with bleach. This is used sparingly and only with homeowners permission.
- Spray the roof with an eco friendly soap solution that is kind on the shingles, plants and environment.
- Lightly rinse the roof with water to remove any dirt or dust.
- We do not use any high water pressure to rinse the roof as this causes granule loss and defeats the purpose of asphalt shingle roof restoration.
- Allow roof to dry before applying Fresh Roof.
- Complimentary cleaning of solar panels.
Application of Fresh Roof
- Fresh Roof product applied at low pressure through a spray system.
- Allow product the drying time of 2 hours.
Final inspection
- Make sure for complete coverage of roof and spot treat any areas that may have been missed on initial application.
- Provide homeowner with 6 year warranty covering Fresh Roof product.
